Following his speech, Eknath Shinde, the leader of the rebel Shiv Sena, declared that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), which is currently in power in Maharashtra, was a "unnatural alliance" and that it was essential for his party to leave the alliance with the NCP and the Congress for the benefit of its members."For the sake of Shiv Sainiks and the Shiv Sena, the unnatural alliance must end. Making a choice in the state's best interests is crucial "Along with the Sena MLAs insurgents, Shinde is camped out in Guwahati. He used the hashtag #Hindutvaforever in his Marathi tweets. Shinde argued that the Shiv Sena, which leads the governing coalition, and its employees were gradually weakening while the NCP and the Congress were becoming more powerful in the MVA alliance.

A resolution stating that rebel leader Eknath Shinde remains in charge has been delivered to state governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari by the Shiv Sena Legislative Party with the support of 34 MLAs. According to Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Wednesday, CM Uddhav Thackeray left his official bungalow, Varsha, in South Mumbai at night and returned to his private residence, Matoshree, in the Bandra area. Thackeray would continue serving as the state's chief minister, according to Sanjay Raut, who made this point clear. The top spokeswoman for the Sena stated, "We will demonstrate our majority on the House floor if necessary."

He denied rumours that NCP leader Sharad Pawar asked Thackeray to appoint Sena rebel leader Eknath Shinde as chief minister in order to preserve the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) administration. Rather than offering Thackeray any advise, Pawar stated that the MVA would work together to resolve the political situation, according to Raut. Sharad Pawar, the leader of the NCP, paid a visit to Thackeray at Varsha in the evening. He was accompanied by Supriya Sule and Jitendra Awhad. NCP leader Supriya Sule gave the meeting a thumbs up when it was over, and the CM emerged to welcome his supporters after the meeting, which lasted around an hour.
